<div class="WPC-editableContent"><font size="3"><u>Background</u>: Penta Film was a joint venture  between Italian film producers [[Cecchi Gori Group (Italy)|Mario & Vittorio Cecchi Gori]] and Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of Fininvest. It was formed in 1988 after Fininvest purchased [[Medusa Film (Italy)|Medusa Distribuzione]] and demised in 1994, effectively reverting back into Medusa. Then "</font><b>PENTA</b><font color="#333333">" and "</font><b>FILM</b><font color="#333333">" zoom below and take their places.</font></font> <font size="3">The logo shines.</font><br/><font size="3"><font size="3"><br/><u>Variants</u>: <br/></font></font><ul><li><font size="3"><font size="3">There is a variation with the </font></font><font size="3">third word ("<b>DISTRIBUZIONE</b>") typing itself in white</font><font size="3"><font size="3"> below.</font></font></li><li><font size="3"><font size="3">There is a logo with different movement, closer to the orbiting spheres and better quality.</font></font></li><li><font size="3"><font size="3">In the film <i>Mutande Pazze</i>, the word "<b>FILM</b>" is replaced with "DISTRIBUZIONE" and the logo is still.</font></font></li></ul><font size="3"><font size="3"><br/></font><u>FX/SFX</u>: The spheres move and pentagon forming from parts.<br/><br/><u>Music/Sounds</u>: A synth noise, followed by crystallized whoosh, a long cymbal sound and a synth fanfare.<br/><br/><u>Availability</u>: Uncommon. Can be found on Italian films, such as <i>Mediterraneo</i> and <i>Dimenticare Palermo</i>.
