Film Classics Video
(Late 1980s?-1993?)
Logo: On the same star field/space background as the Kartes Video Communications logo, we see a steel conveyor belt-like floor below. A 3D globe (similar to that of the BBC1 logo with the waterscape completely translucent and the landscapes opaque and colored green) flies into place and onto the conveyor belt. As it very slowly spins, the words "FILM CLASSICS" in a white Tiffany font zooms in from the left. Then, the word "VIDEO" in red (in the same font) immediately flies out from the right and plasters itself side-ways next to "FILM."
FX/SFX: All the animation, which was good for the time.
Music/Sounds: A redone version of the KVC jingle with more synthesized harp glissando.
Availability: Extremely rare.
Editor's Note: None.

ImaVision
(Late 1998-2005)
Nickname: "The V-shaped Filmstrip"
Logo: On a black/blue CGI starfield, we see a wording piece that rises up to reveal the word "IMAVISION" (with "IMA" in a strange cheap font and "VISION" in a bold Arial font. The "V" is bigger than the other letters). Meanwhile, turquoise and blue filmstrips glide from the screen until they zoom away. Then a spark draws a line under "IMAVISION" on the bottom of the "V", and a V-shaped green and blue filmstrip zooms out to connect on the "V". The logo shines.
FX/SFX: The line growing, the V-shaped filmstrip zooming out and the IMAVISION rising up.
Music/Sounds: A well-known electric keyboard tune.
Availability: Found on nearly every Imavision VHS and DVD release from the era most notably Little House on the Prairie. The current TV print is seen on late 2004 DVD releases, although this logo is still seen until 2005. On early DVD releases, there is no warning screen before this logo. On every VHS release, the warning screen is seen before this logo (black background until mid-2000, blue background starting mid-2000 until 2003).
