1st (Known) Logo
(1995-2000s)

Logo: The letters for "Victor" in a white stylized font fade in one by one where they would briefly zoom in before zooming out whilst moving to the left on blurry live-action footage over a black background depicted as the following:
  • What appears to be a skyscraper.
  • A closeup of red roses.
  • A 3x9 configuration of television sets of a person in front of something green (possibly grass).
  • A piano in blue tint.
  • The same roses from before.
  • A street in an aqua tint.
After the last letter finishes, it pans out to the center where it is revealed to have also included the "His Master's Voice" logo next to the first letter in the text's color whilst the footage fades out leaving it just plain black.

Variant: A still version exists, possibly for video games.

FX/SFX: Everything involving the popping letters and logo, the color-changing background. This was not bad animation for the time, which still looks good even today. It is very nicely done for a mid-90s CGI animation logo.

Music/Sounds: A dreamy synth-choir theme with a piano section.

Availability: Rare. Seen on releases from Victor Entertainment such as Excel Saga. The still version can be seen on most PlayStation titles; see the variant for details.

Editor's Note: This is a very nicely-animated logo, and it has a very soothing musical theme as well.
