(1990-July 9, 1993)
Grant/Tribune Productions (1993)Lightyear Entertainment / Grant/Tribune (1991)

Nickname: "GT"

Logo: On a dark grey background, we see a stylized, three-layered, silver "G" zooming out while a letter "T" (in the style of the Tribune logos from 1982-1996) slides out from behind it, and when both letters are place, the words "GRANT/TRIBUNE PRODUCTIONS" (in white) fades in below. The logo then shines.

Variants:
  • An in-credit variant can be seen in the TV movie Secrets of the Unknown; the words "GRANT/TRIBUNE" and the logo to the left of it can be seen under the "Lightyear Entertainment" and "IAW" text.
  • A short variant exists that starts with the already formed logo shining.

FX/SFX: The zooming and sliding letters, and the logo shining. None for the in-credit variant.

Music/Sounds: A calm synth note
or none. The in-credit variant has the closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Extinct, this was seen on the TV special I Love Lucy: The Very First Show!, which aired on CBS in 1990, and the short-lived 1993 sitcom Cutters, which also aired on CBS. The in-credit variant can be found in the 1991 TV movie Secrets of the Unknown.
