Background: International Rocketship Limited is a film company made by Marv Newland, creator of Bambi vs. Godzilla, to make short animated films once he moved to Canada.

1st Logo
(1980-2000)

International Rocketship LimitedNicknames: "The Rocket", "The Headache Text", "The Eyesore Rocket/Blimp"

Logo: On a starry background, we see a weird looking silver rocket/blimp in space. Afterwards the words "INTERNATIONAL ROCKETSHIP LIMITED" appear one-by-one. Fire is blown from behind the rocket, and it fades out, leaving the text behind.

FX/SFX: The text appearing, the rocket/blimp.

Music/Sounds: Mostly a ditty known as the "Rocketship Theme", produced by John Carroll, with random sounds for each text appearing and the rocket's muzzle, which all vary. May also use the opening theme of the short (sometimes with the explosion sound) or be silent.

Availability: Rare; seen on almost all animated films by the company from 1980 to 2000, most of which are on YouTube. One example is Lupo the Butcher.

Editor's Note: None.
