1st Logo
(September 10, 1984-1985)

Jeopardy! Productions 1984


Logo: Against a sky blue background, we see the Jeopardy! logo in it's trademark red font. The text is surrounded by a border of red, blue, and white ellipse shapes. Copyright information is below in a blue Korinna font.

FX: It's a still logo. The logo is meant to look like the Jeopardy! set of the time.

Music: The closing theme to Jeopardy!

Availability: Seen after season one episodes of Jeopardy!

2nd Logo
(1985-1990)

NOTE: For the right video, the logo appears at 3:38.

Logo: On a blue background, we see the logo for Jeopardy! with a star shaped shine above the "Y!" part. The logo shines. Below this is a copyright date reading "© [year] Jeopardy Productions, Inc.".

Variant: A variant exists where the background is a gray-lavender gradient background and the Jeopardy! text is red.

FX/SFX: The logo shining.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Jeopardy! episodes of the time. Preserved on episodes when it was available for viewing on Crackle.

3rd Logo
(1990-1992)

Logo: Against a shady blue background, we see the Jeopardy! logo in white with a black drop-shadow. There is a light blue stripe in the middle of the background and a circle in the same color behind it taking up nearly the whole background. Copyright information is below in a Korinna font.

FX/SFX: None, same as the 1st logo

Music/Sounds: The closing theme to Jeopardy!

Availability: Same as the previous logo.

4th Logo

Logo: Against a dark blue background with swirls, we see the Jeopardy! logo in a shiny gold color and in 3D. The usual copyright information is below.

FX/SFX: Once again, same as the previous logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as above.

Availability: Same as the 2nd logo.

5th Logo
(1993-1994)

Logo: Same as the last logo, except with a few modifications. The Jeopardy! text is slightly darker, and the background is now a nighttime sky with stars and two crossed spotlight rays.

FX/SFX: Same as the last couple of logos.

Music/Sounds: A rather loud drum roll.

Availability: Same as the 2nd logo.

6th Logo
(1994-1996)

Logo: Against a sky background with clouds, we see the Jeopardy! logo in a gold/yellow color with a wireframe style globe behind it. The usual copyright is below.

FX/SFX: Once again still. However in 1995, the logo was given an curling page transition from the credits.

Music/Sounds: The Jeopardy! closing theme fading out along with Johnny Gilbert's speil.

Availability: Same as before. This was the last Jeopardy! Productions logo. Episodes now only feature a copyright notice for Jeopardy! Productions at the end.
