1st Logo
(1998-1999)

Nicknames: "The Globes", "Play and Win #1"
Logo: On a purple background, several rotating globes appear while the word "play" pops up in the left side, then the upper right corner, and the lower right corner of the background. The words "Jeopardy!" and "Online (below Jeopardy)" fade in, and zooms out until it comes to a stop in the middle while the URL "www.jeopardy.com" appears below "Online".
FX: The appearance of the rotating globes, the logo and the URL fading in.
Music/Sounds: A remix of the Jeopardy! theme. A strange moan is also heard when the logo fades in.
Music Variant: Before the 1998 King World logo was introduced, the fanfare plays just as usual, but when the logo appears, the music repeats one more time and would reveal the 1989 King World logo. This was seen in late 1998 on Jeopardy!.
Availability: Extinct on TV; this was last seen in the late '90s on Jeopardy!.
Scare Factor: None to minimal.

Nickname: "Play and Win #2", "TV Screens", "Orange-Yellow Oval"
Logo: The Jeopardy! Online logo, now in blue lettering and in an orange-yellow oval shape, starts on a TV screen which spins around once and stops in the middle where the background now contains more TV screens that randomly turn white (as if it was a disco ball) while the URL, now called "jeopardy.com", is typed below the logo. The TV screen then flips to reveal nothing on the screen, and the URL moves from the right to the left. As the URL moves across the TV screen, The letters "JEOPARDY.COM" appear on the TV screen one by one. The orange-yellow oval then zooms in while the TV screen disappears. Now on a blue textured background, the words "Play Online and WIN" appear below the URL.
FX: The logo on TV screen spinning, the letters on the URL appearing on the TV screen, the appearance of the words "Play Online and WIN".
Music/Sounds: Three unknown notes followed by the same fanfare as logo 1.
Availability: Again, extinct on TV; was seen in the early 2000s on Jeopardy!. It is unknown if it will be seen again when aired on GSN.
Scare Factor: Same as logo 1.
