Background: King Hu Film Productions was a short-lived Hong Kong film production company founded in the early 1970's by director King Hu. The company only produced two movies.
1st Logo

Nicknames: "The Martial Arts Logo", "The Ugly Chinese Font"

Logo: On a red background, we see a long piece of paper with Chinese text written on it (which translates to King Hu Film Productions (in black) presents (in red)). There are seals, which are next to the Chinese font. We then cut to the opening credits.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Only seen on<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BdWOgaMFvg" target="_self">The Fate of Lee Khan</a>.

2nd Logo
(1975)

Logo: On a black background, we see Chinese text (in an ancient Chinese font) and its English translation in orange.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A gong crash is heard at the beginning, and the Chinese-like tympani hits are heard. When we cut to the opening credits, the opening theme of the movie is heard.

Availability: Only seen on<a href="https://youtu.be/120_LWRf3H0?t=1s" target="_self">The Valiant Ones</a>.

Editor's Note: The loud gong and suspenseful timpani will definitely give many people a jump. It also depends on what you think about the font.
