Magnum P.I. (Resolutions: Part II) (1988): the final scene from the credits features Magnum in his naval uniform with a little girl walking on the beach. When the scene is frozen, it fades out and goes to the 1975 Universal Television logo being shown on a television set and remains frozen. As Tom Magnum (played by Tom Selleck) gets up from his recliner with the TV remote in his hand and heads over to his television set, he turns off the knob of the TV then turns around and faces the camera holding his remote. He says "Goodnight" and turns us off with his remote.
Universal Television (Magnum P.I. Finale)
Portrait of a White Marriage (1988):At the beginning of this TV movie, the 1927 Universal logo appears once again, but in a slightly darker tone, similar to the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band variant.

ET Variant (2001 - 2002): For a short time in late 2001 and early 2002, Universal's TV and movie departments were celebrating the 20th Anniversary of E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial, with a special logo featuring E.T. and Elliot flying across the globe. The TV version's logo is similar to the normal version, except that E.T. and Elliot are flying behind the bold "UNIVERSAL" text, and the words "E.T. 20TH ANNIVERSARY" with "E.T." in it's own movie logo font, are featured under the globe. This has been known to be seen on The 5th Wheel and Blind Date (both of which used Universal Worldwide, it is unknown if one without it exists)
