Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone (2001): On the teaser trailer, the logo shakes for a moment, and then starts decomposing as owls fly out of it and towards the screen.

On the first offical trailer, the shield is ultramarine blue this time on a black background and is slowly engulfed by mist.

The Powerpuff Girls Movie (2002): The logo is in dark gray and put on a thunderstorm background. Also, the animation happens differently. The shadow from the banner appears lower than normal.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, USA): The teaser trailer, which played on prints of Men in Black II, had the shield turning into liquid metal and melting.
Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003): The shield is much more metallic, colored tan and in 3-D. Also, it is put on a blue/orange/dark teal aurora background. The shield turns clockwise and zooms in, and there is no byline. This variation was later used as the logo for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
On TV spots, Road Runner runs through the WB shield, causing it to spin fast briefly.

At the beginning of the same trailer, a special logo is used. On a gray background, we see a white circle with the word "WB" in black and written in the "That's all Folks!" script font, with the words "Educational Films" below in the same font.
