Logo description by MattBr

1st (known) logo
(1986?-1990's)

Logo: On a dark blue-mauve gradient background, eight yellow "electricity" lines form a teal outline of the state of Michigan. As this outline nears it's final shape, the dark gold words "A Presentation of Michigan's Public Television Stations" flies in from the bottom, resting in the bottom left corner of the screen.

FX/SFX: The Michigan outline being formed, the words "A Presentation of Michigan's Public Television Stations".

Music/Sounds: A sped-up version of the 1986-1991 WTVS local ID theme.

Availability: Ultra rare. Only known to be seen at the beginning and the end of the 1994 Michigan Senate Debate produced by WKAR, which was aired at least on WTVS on October 26, 1994.

Editor's Note: Even though WTVS changed their ID and logo in 1991, this logo's soundtrack continued to be used.
