Background: MGM/UA Premiere Network was a syndicated movie package in the 1980s that aired movies from the MGM and United Artists libraries.

FX/SFX: The lion, the filmreel.
Music/Sounds: The first roar of the 1960 roar track with a male announcer (Doug Paul) saying "Next on the MGM/UA Premiere Network..." and then goes on to explain about the movie being shown.
Music/Sounds Variant: There was another male announcer later on that started speaking before the lion roars.
Availability: It is extinct outside of old off-air recordings.
