Background: MCA Family Entertainment (formerly known as "Universal Family Entertainment" until late 1994) was the short-lived family division of Universal Studios. So far, it produced Shelley Duvall's Bedtime Stories and Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, both of which originally aired on Showtime.

Nicknames: "The Globe Balloon", "MCA Balloon", "MCA Globe Balloon"

Logo: Against the white background, we see a black square with stars in it. Over it is a blue balloon with the crayon drawing of a earth continents on it and has the red string tied to the bottom of it. Under it are the words "UNIVERSAL FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT" in CG Omega font with "UNIVERSAL" bigger and above "FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT" and has a red line under it.

Variant: Later in 1994, the word, "UNIVERSAL" is replaced by "MCA" in its corporate font in white with its black outline around it and "FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT" is changed into "FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT INC.".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: It has appeared on Shelley Duvall's Bedtime Stories and Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle on Showtime. However, there are VHS releases of said shows that have the logo intact. It is also preserved on DVDs of former and the episodes of latter on Hulu. The "MCA" variant so far, only appeared on Shelley Duvall's Bedtime Stories episode, "The Christmas Witch".
