Logo: We at first see multiple rows of lights. The camera zooms in to these lights, and an "N" forms on the screen. The N "zooms in" to the point in which part of it cannot be seen. This segues into more lights arranged differently than the previous sequence. Again, it "zooms out" so that an "E" can form, in a slightly different fashion than the "N". It actually zooms in on the E this time, as opposed to just zooming in frame by frame. A "T" creatively forms within the "E", and the camera zooms in and out. More lights are shown in several arrangements. "NET" forms, letter by letter, on one of the light patterns. "PLAYHOUSE" then zooms out under this.

FX/SFX: The zooming and letters forming, and the lights. Not bad for a '50s logo, but the zooming is rough at times, which was probably unintentional.

Music/Sounds: A bunch of timpani beats, combined with xylophones and cymbals. An announcer comes in later.

Availability: Seen before(?) NET Playhouse, wherever that is found, but it's probably extinct.

Scare Factor: Low to high, depending on your view of the huge letters and the music. This is an interesting logo.
