1st Print logo
(1924-1926)

Logo: An circular box with a drawing of the female roman soldier holding a grain of wheat and the shield. "COLUMBIA PICTURES CORPORATION" is seen in front of the female soldier.
Note: Starting in 1925, "CORPORATION" is dropped from the text. The box is now a circle, the female soldier has been redrawn and "COLUMBIA PICTURES" is arched and is surrounding the circle as a border.
Logo: Once again there is a circle, but this time with a different drawn torch lady. The torch is shining with lines as shadows. Stars appear on the bottom of the Lady, and "COLUMBIA PICTURES" is arched in the circle with 2 stars on the left and right sides.
Notes: Starting in 1933, The torch lady is moved a little to the right. The rest of the logo remains the same but lacks the 2 stars on the sides.
Notes: There is a version with just the C and the torch. Sometimes, it is in credit.
7th Print Logo

- The torch lady can have parts be inverted (the drape becomes transparent)
- in 2013, the byline "a Sony Company" appears on the bottom of the print logo.
Availability: Common. Surpsingly, this appears on the back cover of City Slickers 1997 MGM/UA Home Video VHS. The print logo made its first appearance in Spring 1993 on the TV Spots for The Pickle and Lost in Yonkers; both films uses the previous logo. It is found on the 1995 Norwegian VHS and the 2017 German Blu-ray of No Escape (aka Escape from Absolom), but the print logo doesn't appear on Australian Blu-ray of the film; However, it uses the Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International logo.
