1st Print Logo
UCV Television
(1957-1959)
Logo: We see a white rectangle with a pillar of classic architecture on the left and right sides. Inside appear the words "UCV-TV" on a Times-like font. Above we see the word "CANAL VIII" on a small rectangle, and below appear "VALPARAISO", also in a small rectangle.
2nd Print Logo
(1959-1968)
Logo: We would see the letters "UCV", with different changes:
- 1956-1964: Below appear the letters "tv" (linked by the "t" lower sector). In the right appear "Canal 8" on a handwritten font.
- 1964-1968: "tv" and "Canal 8" are removed, and instead appear under "UCV" the word "television" on a handwritten font.
4th Print Logo
(1968-1970)
Logo: Consisted on a grey camera silhouette next to the texts "CANAL TV 8" ("8" next and "CANAL" under "TV"), and "UNIVERSIDAD CATOLICA DE VALPARAISO DE CHILE", all surrounded on a rounded rectangle.
5th Print Logo
(1970-1977)
Logo: We see a big number "4" on a black rectangle, with the word "UCV" in Helvetica below
6th Print Logo
(1977-1978)
Logo: Now we see the same number "4" from before inside a TV screen, accompanied by the numbers "5" and "8" with the same style. Under the "4" appear "RED UCV TELEVISION".
7th Print Logo
(1978-1980)
Logo: We see three oblique squares colored red, green and blue, "UCV" appear in order on the squares, and below it appear the word "TELEVISION".
Variant: On 1979, "TELEVISION" would be replaced by "TELERED", which is on a different font and now appear above the squares.
8th Print Logo
(1980-1991)
Logo: The logo varied trought the years but with the same concept:
- 1980-1982: We see the letters "UCV" (on a font similar to ATC) above the word "TELEVISION". All appear inside a yellowTV screen with a black outline.
- 1982-1986: The TV screen is now colored dark green, "UCV" appear outlined, colored white and in a Cooper Black typography. "TELEVISION" appear on Times Roman font and also colored white.
- 1986-1991: Same as the 1980 version, but the TV screen background is transparent, "UCV" is cutted by lines, and "TELEVISION" appear out of the rectangle. All of this is now colored blue.
Variant: A multicolored version of the 1986 logo exist.
9th Print Logo
(1991-1995)
Logo: We see "ucv" on a cursive font, with a circle in the "c", and colored by a blue/orange gradient-like, and below the letters appear "TELEVISION" on a bold/cursive font on a blue rectangle.
Variant: The circle is removed in 1994.
10th Print Logo
(1995-1996)
Logo: We see an oval of 2 colors, orange and blue (with a yellow glow), with "ucv" inside. Below appear "Television" on a Mistral font and colored blue.
11th Print Logo
(1996-1998)
Logo: On nine multicolored lines, appear the letters "UCV" in blue, with the "V" stylised like a check form and a Earth globe in the "C". Between the last two lines appear "TELEVISION".
12th Print Logo
(1998-2003)
Logo: The multicolored lines are removed, only leaving the last two will are now ticker and colored blue. The globe is replaced by a simple circle.
13th Print Logo
(2003-2006)
Logo: Consisted in a square made by other 4 squares in different shades of blue. In the center of the square appear "UCV" in Helvetica Black font, and "Television" on a side of the lower right square.
Variant:
- In most of the cases, "Television" is removed
- In 2005, "UCV" becomes more thinner.
14th Print Logo
(2006-2008)
Logo: On a black disc appear the letters "UCV" in white. The "C" is a dot with two archs in the top and the bottom.
15th Print Logo
(2008-2013)
Logo: The black disc is now colored mustardyellow, and the letters are now colored black.
16th Print Logo
(2013-2014)
Logo: We see a yellow rectangular triangle with the letters "UCV" (in a similar typography to TV PERU logo font).
17th Print Logo
(2014-2018)
Logo: The letters "UCV" sligthy changes in font, and the rectangular triangle is modified.
Variant: In 2018, "TV" appear below "UCV", and the letters are black or transparent.
TV+
(2018-)
Logo: Just the letters "TV" in blue with a "+" in light blue.
