Nickname(s): "The Girl", "Freshly Squeezed Guitar" "Your Morning Will Rock!"

Logo: On a sunburst background, the camera zooms out when a woman holding an electric guitar jumps and she slides in front. When it zooms out the logo's text is formed along with the copyright information.

Variants:
  • On Channel 4's breakfast series "Freshly Squeezed", the logo is different. The "For Channel 4" text is at the center below the logo. The copyright year is written in Roman numerals, which is widely used by most broadcasters in the UK. The logo was brighter than the current one.
  • On MTV Networks Europe productions (mainly for MTV Base, Dance, Music, Classic, Hits, Rocks, and Live HD) (such as The Official Top 40 Chart and theMTV Classic/Music special "Greatest Video Of The Century"), only the logo's text is moving. Plus, the copyright date is in Hindu-Arabic numerals instead ofRoman numerals.
  • On some programmes produced by the company (notably the 2014 remake of Fifteen to One by Channel 4), an animated in-credit version of the logo was created. Below is the logo of Arogon group, which is the parent company of Remedy Productions

FX/SFX: 2D Flash animation. Pretty good animation for that time period.

Music/Sounds: Simple electric guitar tune. None for the in-credit variant.

Availability: Uncommon. Currently, MTV International/UK switched their production arm to Elephant House Studios as of 2018. However, the in-credit variant can still be found on the 2014 remake of Fifteen to One and their other productions as well.

Editor's Note: The logo wasn't widely known until it began to appear on MTV International's productions (until 2018) and on the 2014 remake of Fifteen To One.
