It was one of three companies merged to form Screen Australia in 2008. Lightworks create a rope-patterned figure hanging mid-air. Sparks and embers fall down in the process, and we see more ropes appearing. A blurry figure comes into focus, which reads "ffc" with "australia" on the bottom right of the logo. The logo is still being drawn when revealed.<br/><br/><u>FX/SFX</u>: The whole animation: embers and lightworks.<br/><br/><u>Variant</u>: A short version is much more common. It starts from the final embers before the FFC is shown.<br/><br/><u>Music/Sounds</u>: First the sounds of grasshoppers which then turns into a soft Indigenous Australian tribal tune<br/><br/><u>Availability</u>: Full version is very rare and was seen on <i>The Black Balloon</i>. Short version was used on movies by FFC between 2006 and 2009. Examples include <i>Kokoda</i> and <i>Daybreakers</i>.
