Logo descriptions by Oz_Paramount and EnormousRat

Background: Film Finance Corporation (otherwise known as FFC Australia) was an Australian Government department which helped finance Australian film and television production. It was one of three companies merged to form Screen Australia in 2008. They had no proper animated logo until 2006, and earlier productions just used an in-credit one in the credits.

Logo: On a background resembling nightfall in the Australian outback, we see embers rise up from the screen. Lightworks create a rope-patterned figure hanging mid-air. Sparks and embers fall down in the process, and we see more ropes appearing. A blurry figure comes into focus, which reads "ffc" with "australia" on the bottom right of the logo. The logo is still being drawn when revealed.

FX/SFX: The whole animation: embers and lightworks.

Variant: A short version is much more common. It starts from the final embers before the FFC is shown.

Music/Sounds: First the sounds of grasshoppers which then turns into a soft Indigenous Australian tribal tune

Availability: Full version is very rare and was seen on The Black Balloon. Short version was used on movies by FFC between 2006 and 2009. Examples include Kokoda and Daybreakers. It had a short life span and was replaced with plain Screen Australia logo.
