1st Logo
(1975-July 15, 1977)

Carruthers Company/ABC Television Network (1975)A Carruthers Company Production/Warner Bros. Television (1975)This Has Been a Carruthers Company Presentation/Warner Bros. Television (1976)Carruthers Company (1977)

Logo: Superimposed in the credits, we see either one of these two texts:

THIS HAS BEEN A
CARRUTHERS CO.
PRODUCTION
IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
AMERICAN BROADCASTING CO.

The above notice used a Peignot font. The other text reads:

THIS HAS BEEN A
CARRUTHERS COMPANY
PRESENTATION
IN ASSOCIATION WITH
WARNER BROS. TELEVISION
In long credit rolls, the second notice was split between the Carruthers Company notice (which only reads "A CARRUTHERS COMPANY PRODUCTION") and the WBTV text.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end theme plays while either one of the two in-credit notices shown above appears on the screen.

Availability: Extremely rare. The in-credit text for the Carruthers Company and Warner Bros. Television appeared on three short-lived game shows: The Neighbors, Give-N-Take, and Second Chance. The Carruthers/ABC text in the Peignot font was seen on the un-aired 1975 ABC game show pilot Beat The Odds.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(May 18, 1983-September 26?, 1986)
From the pilot of "Press Your Luck"Carruthers Company (1984)

Logo: As superimposed on Press Your Luck, we see the text:

A
Carruthers (__/\__) Company
Presentation
©[YEAR]

Between "Carruthers" and "Company" is a rounded rectangle with a small spike in the middle.

Variant: On the pilot of Press Your Luck, it was like this:

A CARRUTHERS CO.
PRODUCTION

IN ASSOCIATION WITH

CBS TELEVISION, INC.
© 1983

Rod did not sign off on the pilot, though.

FX/SFX: None, it's superimposed, except for that choppy "wipe" effect from the CBS Television City mentioning to the logo.

Music/Sounds/Voice-over: The ending theme of Press Your Luck with Rod Roddy saying, "This is Rod Roddy speaking for 'Press Your Luck,' A Carruthers Company Presentation!".

Availability: Uncommon. Only seen on Press Your Luck, and even then this was uncommon for many years due to GSN's "credit crunch" practices. However, this is shown in its entirety on BUZZR.

Editor's Note: None.
