Background: Cinetel Films was founded in 1985 by Paul Hertzberg and Lisa M. Hansen.

1st Logo
(May 23, 1986-May 25?, 2006)

Nickname
: Rainbow CineTel Films

Logo: On a black background, we see a white line wiping in the words "CineTelFilms". The words have a rainbow trailer flowing through them.

Variant: In later years, the colors flow at a much slower, almost unnoticeable pace.

FX/SFX
: The wiping.

Music/Sounds: Usually silent, or on occasion, the film's opening music playing over it.

Availability: Found on films by the company, including 976-EVIL and its sequel, The Astral Factor, Class of 1999 Part 2: The Substitute, Hit List, Armed Response, We're Talkin' Serious Money, Out of the Dark, Tripwire, Masters of Menace, Cyclone, Past Midnight, Say Yes, Fast Getaway and its sequel, Excessive Force 2: Force on Force, Hardbodies 2 (excluding current TV/DVD prints which are plastered with the MGM logo), the Relentless series, Teresa's Tattoo, Too Much Sun, and Ghoulies IV, among others. One of the last films to feature this logo was Solar Attack. It may have been seen on U.S. theatrical prints of Star Knight, but the Vidmark VHS doesn't use a logo.

2nd Logo
(June 15?, 2006- )
CineTelFilmsCinetel Films (2010)

Logo: We see a crystal version of CineTel Films shining with rainbow colors and zooming to take its position. Then blue light passes over the text and the logo fades.

Variant: On a black background, we see a still 2-D white version of the logo, with a reflection of it seen below.

FX/SFX: The word scanning and zooming (a la the 1990 and 1998 King World logos).

Music/Sounds: The sound of whooshing.

Availability: Can be found on newer films from this company, such as Ogre or Storm Cell.
