(2005-2009)
Logo: A man wearing an orange coat enters a lighthouse building while a rainstorm occurs outside. He waves his flashlight, then takes a lever and pulls it down. Immediately, an electric impulse runs up, by some wires, we follow it quickly and release out. The lighthouse lamp starts to brighten, the camera zooms out to view the lighthouse building, atop a rock around the sea as the lighthouse emits light. Then it converts into a print picture on the orange background box. "LIGHTHOUSE INTERACTIVE" appears below.
FX/SFX: All CGI.
Music/Sounds: Sound of thunder and pulling lever. Then suddenly a dramatic soundtrack starts tied to the impulse running, ending as a peaceful note.
Availability: Still common on many games published, like Keepsake, Avencast, Sword of the Stars, and some others.
Editor's Note: None.
Background: Lighthouse was a Netherlands-based international game publisher started in 2005. It went bankrupt in March 2009, when the holding company SilverBirch Inc. folded two months earlier.
