Logo: On a slate blue background with black corners, a glass skull is seen spinning rapidly, with various symbols and letters bouncing around inside the cranium area. As it rests at a side view, it suddenly cracks and shakes a bit before exploding into various shards. After the skull explodes, the same symbol and letter blur in and spin a bit before resting. The letters spell out "SPIKE CHUNSOFT" with a android-like head to the left of it. The head has an eye and the written letters "SC" at where its brain will go. After they rest, the background becomes black, the text white, and the the head white with a sky blue outline, letters, and a purple eye as 3 tiny triangles also appear against it.

Variants:
  • Usually, the logo is still on a black or white background.
  • The logo may be in monochrome white.
  • On the PC port and of Trigger Happy Havoc: Danganronpa, the logo takes place of the Spike/NIS America logo, in which it zooms in slowly over a TV set with an orange glow. On the screen is blue static with black areas that continually move around.
  • On Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (the True intro, not the Dangan Island intro), the logo is seen at an angle on a blue background. A copy slowly moves over it as it trembles and shakes before it fades away and the intro starts.
  • On Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, the logo is at first black, stuttering while zooming in over static. It then quickly flashes to a brick wall with the logo in red painted on as the logo zooms out. Here, the logo is all blue except for the white head and the triangles are missing. Mist is seen in the back as well, with portraits of Komaru Naegi and Toku Fuwata (the main protagonists of the game) clear in on the left and right respectively, with Komaru having an green glow white Toku has a red glow. The logo then turns into mist and disappears and the scene fades out.
  • On Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (at least, the Japanese version), the logo is completely different. The logo fades to a stage with various gates surrounded around with a audience made of Monokumas. The screen in the background scrolls to the "Class Trial" background. Then, spotlights move around as the Spike Chunsoft drops down one by one and light up like neon signs as arch segments and Monokuma himself popping up on his chair. The objects then continue to dangle, spread, and bounce before the logo fades to black.

FX/SFX: The skull spinning and shattering, the text forming. None or a different animation on the variants.

Music/Sounds: A quick piano ditty, with the sounds of glass breaking when the skull breaks. On the variants, it's the opening theme of the intro or none.

Availability: Current. The animated logo is rare, though, as it's only seen on a few games, mainly English PC ports, but more commonly on trailers.
